The book was launched on 17 September 2007 by Professor Alex Ziegert (University of Sydney). On the same day, The Centre for Comparative Law and Development Studies in Asia and the Pacific (CLDSAP) in co-operation with the Asian Law Centre (ALC) at the University of Melbourne organised a workshop on “Approaches to Law and Development in the Asia Pacific Region”.
