Research program: Australia in the Asia-Pacific

My research will explore the concept of “collective imperial knowledge” under the tradition of British colonialism using Singapore and Darwin as case studies. In order to assess this concept, the tools of postcolonial discourse analysis will be used to examine fiction, legislation and oral histories dealing with domestic servants.
