INTERNATIONALISATION OF THE CURRICULUM

Maureen Bell

Research program: Globalisation and Education

This research aims to further our knowledge about the processes and purposes of internationalising curriculum, and the ways in which internationalisation of the curriculum are experienced “on the ground” by students and academics. This research will bring the hitherto silent voices of academics who design and teach curriculum, and the students who experience it, into the debate. Collective case study method will be used. Three cases will be studied in-depth using observation, interview, survey and document inspection.
