RESEARCH PROGRAMS

CAPSTRANS research activities operate as a set of overlapping research programs that address the concept of “social transformation”. We are concerned with the roles of state and non-state agents in the changing Asia-Pacific, with a particular emphasis on the study of transnational forces as they relate to issues of inequality and exclusion. Each research program has a series of interlinked research questions that address these issues in comparative and integrative ways.

Follow these links to learn about these programs, their associated projects and affliated staff.
